After homeschooling my children and running a private high school for 4-5 families, I focused on teaching Pre-Algebra to Pre-Calculus in a 15-student classroom for 14 years with great success.

Dissatisfied with Algebra 1 textbooks in general, I wrote my own for a clear, logical presentation.  It is so clear that a sixth grader used it independently during a summer, needing help from her dad 3 times.  She ended up 2 years advanced in high school math.  Myong used it with her daughter Victoria, an advanced 4^th grader. They shortened the lessons to her attention span. She graduated from UC Berkley at age 16.
